Production & Benchmark Sites

Production & benchmark sites

AM Futures enables your additive journey — providing prototypes, benchmarks and a production supply chain for finished parts made to recognised industry standards. Our facilities and partners are based across the UK and Europe.

How We Help

Production partner

Whether you're proving a concept, choosing a machine or buying finished parts, we support the stage you're at — and the one after it.

Prototypes

We turn your CAD into physical parts on the right process — industrial FDM, SLS, metal powder bed fusion, large-format composite or pellet — so you can check fit, form and function before you commit to tooling or a machine.

Benchmarks

We produce your part on candidate systems and materials, then report on accuracy, mechanical properties, surface finish, build time and cost per part — so the machine or process decision is made on evidence, using your own geometry.

Production supply chain

When you need parts rather than a printer, we supply them from qualified production facilities — printed, post-processed, inspected and finished to the standard your sector requires, in batch sizes from one upwards.

What You Get

Inside a benchmark report

A benchmark is a decision document. You leave with data, not opinions.

  • Dimensional report against your GD&T, with scan or CMM data
  • Material test data — tensile strength, elongation, density
  • Surface finish measurements, as-built and post-processed
  • Build strategy — orientation, supports and nesting for your volumes
  • Cycle time and cost per part at prototype, bridge and series volumes
  • A recommendation — process, machine and material, with the trade-offs

Production Standards

Parts made to the standards your sector works to

Depending on your industry and the partner facility, finished parts can be produced, inspected and documented to standards such as:

ISO 9001 — quality management AS9100 / EN 9100 — aerospace ISO 13485 — medical devices IATF 16949 — automotive ISO/ASTM 52900 series — additive manufacturing Material certification & batch traceability First article inspection (AS9102) PPAP / ISIR on request

Certification scope varies by facility. Tell us the standard your part has to meet and we'll match it to the right site in our network.

The Network

Facilities & partners across the UK and Europe

Rather than a single bureau, AM Futures draws on a network of production sites — so the work goes to the technology, capacity and approvals that fit your part.
